CODAC is Changing with the Times to Reach People in Need

CODAC has immediately followed CDC and SAMHSA recommendations to expand and integrate telephonic services for evaluation and treatment of patients.

In these extraordinary times, Rhode Island continues to be high risk for COVID-19, and the health and safety of our patients and therapists/staff is our top priority. CODAC is responding to the pandemic by transitioning patient services to telehealth that will allow individuals to continue all services, with the same level of support via remote technology from the safety of their own homes.

CODAC has committed to keep all of its facilities fully operational following guidelines from CDC, State and Local authorities. We have had to enforce strict protocols in our treatment processes to keep patients and employees safe. As a result, CODAC has had to transition a great majority of its healthcare services, at its eight outpatient clinics, to remote therapy.

Our patients will continue to receive all services with the same level of support via technology. We have over 250 therapists/clinicians and have. been supported by SPRINT, which donated 200 cell phones, via telehealth that have facetime capabilities.
