CODAC Behavioral Healthcare is proud to have a continued presence on the Board of Directors for the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence (AATOD). With a history that stretches back to 1984, AATOD has worked with policymakers, government partners, and physicians around the world to advance the science of recovery services and reduce the stigma of life-saving, evidence-based treatment for opioid use disorder.
Prior to the organization’s founding, the recovery community worked in silos unaware of the operations, challenges, and advancements within the industry. Today, a network of recovery specialists exist to help individuals lead healthier and more productive lives. As a founding member of the organization, CODAC will continue to support AATOD with the goal of sharing important clinical breakthroughs that could positively change lives on a national and international scale.
