WITH YOUR HELP, CODAC is hoping to purchase our own mobile to treatment unit so we can expand our efforts and help the homeless community effected by COVID-19 receive treatment and medicine. Any amount, small or large, will help us reach our goal to address the opioid crisis in our neighboring communities. To donate, please click the button above.
CODAC is providing essential health care services to the vulnerable, economically distressed, low-income families, who have an opioid/substance addiction, a weakened immune system, and experiencing unemployment and stay-at-home orders. CODAC is partnering with Rhode Island State Police, who are housing homeless, COVID-19 positive individuals, at the Wyndham Hotel. In addition, CODAC is providing medicated treatment and mental health services to stabilize this vulnerable population. To provide continuous support, we are also providing delivery of medications for our patients who suffer from opioid/substance abuse and mental health. Many have anxiety visiting our freestanding behavioral health facilities during COVID-19.The City of Cranston has allowed us to temporarily use a van for delivery and distribution of medications to patients’ homes and to the homeless population.
