Telehealth
CODAC is Changing with the Times to Reach People in Need
In response to COVID-19, CODAC immediately followed CDC and SAMHSA recommendations to expand and integrate telephonic services for evaluation and treatment of patients.
Telehealth often refers to the delivery of health care services through live, interactive phone or videoconferencing. Telehealth allows you to see and speak to your health care service provider or counselor live, from the privacy and safety of your own home. You chat with your provider just as you would in person.
In these extraordinary times, Rhode Island continues to be high risk for COVID-19, and the health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. CODAC responded to the pandemic by transitioning patient services to telehealth that which allows individuals to continue all services, with the same level of support via remote technology from the safety of their own homes.
CODAC has committed to keep all of its facilities fully operational following guidelines from CDC, State and Local authorities. We have had to enforce strict protocols in our treatment processes to keep patients and employees safe.
Contact CODAC or call (401) 490-0716 to find out which services are offered through telehealth and to schedule an appointment.
